2005 Forest River Wildwood
Our trailer has been lovingly cared for. Therefore, we prefer families camping in credited campgrounds. Party groups, concert goers and off-roading in fields etc aren’t a good match for this trailer.
A great unit for hitting the campground! This unit has never been smoked in and is in excellent condition. It is pre-packed with all the necessities for your trip. so no need to bring anything but your own food, snacks, and sleeping linens/pillows, and bath & kitchen towels. We recommend a maximum of 5 for a comfortable experience. The front master bedroom has a queen size bed (sleeps 2), a fold out couch (sleeps 1) and rear bunk beds (sleeps 2). There is a handy step ladder for the upper bunk. The slide-out extends the floor space to nearly double when extended (electric opening with the touch of a switch!) and the huge exterior awning means that rainy days won't ruin your vacation. A hand rail and three stairs are at the entrance to the trailer, and they work great. The bathroom includes a mini tub with shower head. This is great for a quick rinse-off, washing feet or small children. Keep in mind that unless you are in a full-service camping spot, you only have as much water as what was put in the holding tank, and a small amount of hot water from that tank. So we recommend you take advantage of the showers offered in most camp grounds for full bathing and hair washing. You will require a vehicle capable of towing at least 8,000 lbs weight (Gvwr 7,680 lbs) with an electric brake control system. For example, the minimum of the equivalent of a half ton truck. An equalizer hitch and sway bar will be provided for your use. Annual maintenance has been done at Transcona Trailer Sales and Classic Trailer Sales. What's includedCutlery, plates, mugs, cooking utensils, cutting board & drain board are provided. Also, a small electric heater and cooling fan. There is a built in radio and the option of a TV (analog) hooked up to a DVD/VHS machine. We provide the RV-rated toilet paper (you can't use anything thicker than that). There is a kettle, coffee maker and microwave. The fridge is both electric and/or propane powered.RecommendationsWe love West Hawk Lake because you can get spots facing the lake in section A of the campground, and Rushing River is about as beautiful as things get. These campgrounds have nice full-service washrooms. We recommend using them for solid waste and showering, as the plumbing in the trailer is narrow and the water/hot water tanks & holding tanks only hold limited amounts of water. BirdsHill Park and the Lilac Resort are also great destinations within a reasonable distance from the city.Other things to noteThis trailer is a luxurious mansion for a couple and a home for a family. We want you to have a marvellous time, but not as the "party trailer" please. We have kept this trailer in 'like new' condition by treating it gently and with care, and trust that you will too. Remember that in order to be able to pull something the size of a house down the highway, it is made of light-weight materials, making it vulnerable to rough handling. Outdoorsy holds your $750 damage deposit which will be used if there is unnecessary damage upon return. Thank you for your care and consideration.

Grey/Black Water Tank Clean-out
If the water tanks are not dumped and flushed prior to trailer return, a clean-out fee will be charged. Helpful tip: if you realize on the way home that you forgot to empty the black/gray water tanks at the campground, go to the Flying J in Headingley. Go to the front desk and take out a Flying J membership (no fee). There are two trailer dumps on site, and instead of paying $10 to dump, it is only $3 with a membership. Otherwise, we will have to charge $45 for the inconvenience of having to do it ourselves later.

We started out in a tent. Loved it actually, but found the set-up and take-down time a lot of work - especially if it rained. Up-graded to a small trailer. It suited us to a T, but in time our family of 5 outgrew it, so we up-graded again to our present trailer so our growing kids would still enjoy coming with us. Now we find it's usually just us two, though we still enjoy the space and the comforts. Grandkids will soon be joining us, so things will get busy again!

Robyn and Janet are genuinely good people. They are very informative and their instruction was so good that the set up and take down was flawless. The trailer is extremely well kept and I highly recommend this rental!

Owners were very helpful and reviewed all items in the trailer and how to work everything. It is a very nice trailer and the pop out was great to have as it rained quite a bit so we spent a lot of time in there. Beds were comfortable, everything works well. We would rent this trailer again.
