This is my festival bus, but I am not going to the Burn this year so I am renting it out for any last minute stragglers who are seeking an RV.Note: I am only charging $50/night but the Burn fee is $4,000. Taking an RV to the Burn is expensive and there are many things that can go wrong in the best of circumstances. However, I will give you very detailed instructions for how to make the most of the trip if you decide to rent this RV.Also, if you have never driven a large rig like this, please do not rent this. It is best if someone in your group has knowledge about RVs. Because things can go wrong out there in those conditions, just from the alkaline dust alone on the Playa, and if no one knows how to tweak things, it can be scary.I will of course help the best I can, and give you advice before you leave, but there is no phone/internet service other than Starlink on the Playa so you will need to be radically self reliant with this when out there! ;)That said, the Playa does provide. :)This is a very comfy RV to spend time in, and was built to last. You will have a comfortable space with 300 square feet of living space once the living room slide out is open. You have a full bed with a 2 inch memory foam mattress; spacious bathroom and shower, and a full kitchen at your convenience: microwave, gas stove, oven, sink.Living room couch and seats are premium soft white leather. The living room couch is a pullout, but the sofa itself is very comfy to sleep in. Dinette turns into a sleeping area, but most comfortably would sleep children, or shorter people.Ample storage space both inside and under. There is closet space for all your fabulous Burn outfits too! There are 2 AC units for both living area and bedroom. (You can't use them at the same time tho or you will pop the circuit breaker). It's also frowned upon to use generators all the time on the Playa, however, so be mindful of that. That said, the generator is an Onan Marquis 7000, 50 AMP and protected us through the 2023 Burning Man weather fiasco. ;)You may want to take extra gas with you if you cannot plug into a camp power source. (Usually not). I do have a few 5 gallon tanks in the RV you can use. There is also a furnace to keep you warm as the weather can fluctuate greatly out there! This is a basic RV, but was very well made. It is a slightly rougher ride to drive than a fancy modern rig. But for the Burn I wouldn't rent out a fancy rig anyway because it will get trashed, no matter what! ;)When you drive, you shouldn't try to push too much uphill, especially after you pass the Sacramento area, but work with her (which means just going slower if needed)... it has a strong Triton V10 engine and will get you where you need to go safely. Make sure you have enough time to get there. You will be much slower than in a car, getting there. I also don't recommend taking the scenic route via Yosemite. The locals hate Burners and it's rougher to drive with the large rig up those mountains and will take you much longer than via the 5.The known issues: After a trip to EDC, the side was scratched on the way back (see pic). It has not been fixed. It is only cosmetic, however. There are no leveling jacks. But the playa is flat. So it shouldn't be an issue. The dash AC is not blowing super cold. I will fix it if I have time but it may not happen in time. We have managed without it on our treks by using our own personal fans. I can provide those. It is also difficult to push the rig up mountains with AC blowing at the same time. But you can have the generator running and house AC cooling things down. We have found this more effective since the generator doesn't affect the engine itself. But I mention this because it may be a dealbreaker for some.Price does reflect all these issues. But once you are parked, you will have a very comfortable experience in this RV!What's includedAlso included are bedding and towels, plates, cups, silverware and basic kitchen necessities; fresh linens and shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Basically: other than your outfits and other items you want to bring, it will be turn key for the Burn.Other things to noteI do not recommend this RV for inexperienced RV drivers, because it is also quite large and there are things that may come up due to the conditions on the way to Black Rock City and on the Playa.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
While located in Santa Clarita, I am quite flexible with drop offs. I can deliver it within reason around the LA metro area for $100.
