2019 nuCamp T@G
T@G the Teardrop knows its way around North America. In the last 2 years it has traveled more than 40,000 miles, visiting 46 states and 6 Canadian provinces. It loves adventure, and will keep you comfortable while you seek yours! For the minimalist who still likes a few conveniences, this is the rig for you. It's only 13' long, but is packed with all kinds of features that will keep you comfy. Firstly, it is equipped with an Olympic Queen size bed - 66" wide - which is 6" wider than a regular queen. The split mattresses are a plush 8" thick. While we're inside, let's talk about the MaxAir fan, and the A/C unit. So no worries if you are camping in the middle of August or the middle of the desert. There is also a TV/DVD unit for entertainment on a rainy day. All of this, along with lights, outlets, and USB jacks are surrounded by beautiful real wood, Amish- built cabinets. The kitchen is outside under the lift-up clamshell on the back of the camper. It is equipped with a 2-way fridge, 2- burner propane stove and a microwave oven. There is also a sink that we use primarily as storage - it's actually easier to just use the campground spigot with a portable wash tub that we provide for dishes. On the front of the rig is an aftermarket tool box that comes equipped with everything you need to set up the camper in your campsite. 30' shore cable, potable water hose, jacks, leveler crank, wheel chocks, door mats, gloves, rags, etc. All of this comes in at less than 1200 lbs, so you can tow it with just about anything - for the past 2 years, we've towed it with a hybrid Sienna. What's includedT@G the Teardrop comes with bed linens, flashlights, foam seating pads, pots, pans, plastic dishes, tea kettle, and a small dvd library. RecommendationsWhile it is best to get a campsite with 30amp service, everything should still work with 20 amp service. Water hook ups are also helpful since we don't use the sink or fresh water tank in the camper. Sewer hook ups are unnecessary. We recommend state parks whenever possible. They are usually equipped with water and electric (whereas many federal lands like NFS or BLM do not), and they are much more scenic and have more to do than 'RV Parks'. Western NC and eastern TN have many great parks to choose from. Other things to notePlease keep in mind that we continue to enjoy our teardrop for our own adventures, so we expect it to be returned in as good a condition as when you rent it. There is no smoking in the camper and no transporting of the camper while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No food is allowed inside the camper.
