We are garden-growing, outdoor recreation enthusiasts who spent two years traveling overland and working in Australia back in 2008/09 with our (then) young children. We love cooking and enjoy sharing our home-grown produce when it's in season. We also like to build things and make already built things better. Most of all though, we enjoy having adventures in beautiful places, like the canyon country of Utah, high mountains anywhere and the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. Since moving to Portland, Oregon in 2010, we have embraced this wonderfully unique city and state. Please give us the privilege of hosting you. Cheers, Tracy & Peter

The van was perfect for a two person road trip. The ability (and mobility) to shift plans in order to avoid mosquitoes and if necessary wildfire smoke was fantastic. The van systems work great. Having the toilet and refrigerator along with a comfy bed and the powered ceiling vent all push this experience into the Glamping category for sure.
Host were great, informative and responsive. Would happily rent this rig again.

We had a great time exploring Oregon in Peter & Tracy's camper van. Peter was so helpful and informative prior to our departure which set the tone for a wonderful experience. The van was equipped with just about everything we needed except things that we knew we would be going without...biggest item we missed....ICE (no little freezer). Other than that, my husband loved how this van drove and handled on the road and the bed was nice a cozy. All the little features added to this RV made it a joy. With no generator and AC we were a bit worried going in to 100 degree weather but every evening cooled off beautifully. Overall, a fabulous adventure!

We rented this van for our trip to the Gorge Amphitheater for a weekend. We had such a great experience! Starting off Peter was super friendly and helpful, he gave us a great run through of the vehicle and showed us how to use everything so we felt very comfortable before taking off. The van handled the drive very well. We are so grateful to have had a comfortable bed, refrigerator and shade over the weekend. We will definitely keep this is mind for any future trips!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We usually set a 12pm pickup time and also a 12pm return time for this van but are flexible based upon our customer's needs...let us know what you're thinking!
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
1-Make use of your side mirrors and the backup camera when parking...when in doubt, go slow and/or get a spotter outside to help. 2-Remember your height clearance is 10 feet!
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Shore power connection on the driver side of the van uses a standard 120v plug for an extension cord which can be plugged into a power source. Water filling requires removing each 6 gallon tank from a cupboard inside the van and then filling via hose bib or sink. Graywater flows into a 6 gallon tank underneath the counter and requires manual dump to drain. Compost toilet requires manual dump but does separate solid from liquid waste.
