2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
“Home-girl” lives up to her name with her cozy, homey feel inside with butcher block counters, tile backsplash,' and ‘wood’ floors. Outside she is adventure ready- solar panels and storage line the roof and yet her 144 wheel base allows her to fit in parking lots and do ‘normal car’ things (she even fits the In-N-Out drive through) while allowing you to stand up comfortably inside! Ceilings are about 6’3” or 4” but above that you’re probably used to ducking! Mini fridge, inverter, outlets, and built in lighting are some of her features. The front bucket seats are cozy and the passenger rotates to accommodate hangs. Outside is slate grey, features a sliding door across from the kitchen, and two doors that swing fully out to let you take in the sunrise or sunset. Instant hot shower is out back with curtain optional. What's includedInside you will find fresh linens, towels, and soaps to keep you feeling fresh on your adventure. Camp chairs, table, and mat will be inside and ready to pop out at your first destination! Utensils, cookware, even a waffle iron for Sunday mornings, will be ready to go in the kitchen for dine-in nights or spontaneous picnics at that vista you just passed... you’re going to want to make that U-turn...RecommendationsYou don’t have to travel far to experience the beauty of California and the notorious ‘van-life’ you seek! Take her down the beautiful winding highway 150 to Lake Casitas, Rincon beach, or beachfront camping in Carpinteria. For the mountain climbers, head up the 33 to Pine Mountain, or for the surfers- north to El Capitan. Other easy drives are Joshua Tree NP or Big Sur, or during the blooms, Carrizo Plains. Doesn’t really matter where you go, just let yourself go!Other things to notePets welcome but please no smoking inside. Make yourself comfortable, and please remember to have the water flowing when the pump is on! He burns up quick when running dry. Oh.. and diesel. Diesel. Diesel.

Sofia’s van was great for my short trip up the coast to Morro Bay. She was extremely responsive and flexible in timing which allowed me to easily pickup and drop off the van. When I arrived she walked me though how the van worked and where everything was. I was her first Outdoorsy rental and I could tell she put a lot of love into her van. While a few items weren’t working (water to the sink, backup camera, fridge) Sofia provided alternative solutions which worked just as well. Other than that, the van was fully equipped with everything you would need for a trip. I really liked the pull-out bed design which allowed for more space in the van during the day when I wasn’t sleeping. Sofia was kind and easy to work with; I forgot to fill up the van with gas at the end of the trip and she was very understanding! I would give Sofia’s van a 5 star review and would definitely rent from her again!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Very flexible!
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
There are no hookups, this is an off-grid vehicle. Water tanks can be filled with a water hose from anywhere.
Q.What is your solution for toilet when no bathrooms are available at the campground or digging a hole is not an option?
A.
We supply an REI classic- seat with lid that fits onto a 5 gallon bucket and has specialized bags that insert and contain your excrements....
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes, a sheet with instructions is available in the van as well as video instructions available on youtube via a QR code posted in the van.
