2010 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter RV Motorhome Campervan
This custom-built, solar-powered 2010 Mercedes Sprinter camper van seats and sleeps up to 2 people.Edwina Newgate is her name. She is a human converted Sprinter Van with all the modern amenities; big fridge/freezer, sink, hot water, induction stove, and InstantPot. A large table seats 3-4 for eating and playing games inside the van on rainy days. A induction stove and tension cord lets you cook outdoors on a picnic table. Edwina comes with a complete set of dishes, tableware, cookware, and french press coffee maker with a set of everyday spices, tea, and coffeee so you can make you morning coffee and spend more time relaxing.Edwina has a composting toilet and hot shower for rinsing off and cleaning up.Instead of a propane tank or loud generator, Edwina makes electricity with solar panels (400 watts) on the roof and a big bank of batteries as well as a 3000-watt inverter. This provides power for inside lighting, fans, USB ports, and fridge. The batteries store enough electricity to cook at least 8-10 meals for a pair of adventurers before needed to recharge (by driving, solar, or plugging into shore power)Edwina has a 40-gallon freshwater tank, a 5-gallon hot water heater, and a 20-gallon greywater tank with easy automatic draining system accessible without ever stepping foot near a dump station.One roof fan and foam insulation keep the van cool in the summer and a diesel cabin heater keeps the van warm for 4 season camping.Edwina comes with a full set of insulated window shades for stealth camping and privacy.Sleeping area includes a queen-sized bed perfect for one or two adults.There is a storage space beneath the bed perfect for storing inflatable paddle boards, snowboards, suitcases, or extra snacks.Lastly, she’s a lady built for comfort with all the modern design aesthetics in mind. Edwina is the perfect space to create the best vanlife memories.Pets are welcome! From there, take the ferry to Mackinac, rent bikes to see the island. don’t sleep on the famous Mackinac Island Fudge. Then loop around the Upper Peninsula and explore the insanely beautiful forests and lakes. There is so much wildlife! Lastly don’t forget to grab some cheese curds in Wisconsin and take the architectural tour in Chicago before bringing this Lady home.Other things to noteRules:
No smoking in the van ($500 fee)
No off road driving - unfortunately Edwina is not a 4 x 4 ($500 fee plus any damages to vehicle)
Wear your seatbelt when driving. All passengers must be belted while the van is in motion. We are not responsible for any injuries from renter negligence.
Follow road speed rules - no speeding. Renters are responsible for all tickets and/or citations.

I spent the last year living in our converted Mercedes Sprinter Van with my fiancé and pup. After living and learning in Los Angeles for nearly a decade, I needed to escape the city and pursue this dream I had growing within me. Spending days skiing steep snowy slopes, watching the mountain’s wildflowers bloom, soaking up sun on sandy shores, and hearing the leaves crackle as we hike to alpine lakes are all a song I just could not ignore. So I put all my experience to use and designed and built our van. Then we watched as Los Angeles drifted further and further away in our rearview mirror.
