It was our first RV experience. Jim walked us through everything we needed to know for our trip. It had everything we needed for our 2 week expedition and Jim was available to answer our questions when we had a problem. The unlimited miles and generator use gave us peace of mind from additional costs. The RV had enough power to easily get us around Yellowstone. Definitely recommend Jim's RV and would rent again the next time.

Jim was very accommodating with our arrival time - he tracked our flight and was there to pick us up when we got our luggage. He was very communicative and the RV was exactly as described. There are some malfunctions mentioned in other reviews that are still true but none of them affected our trip in a significant way.
The RV is easy to drive and operate and a great size. We went to Grand Teton and Yellowstone and it handled great in the mountainous roads with greater incline. Overall, we would definitely be looking to book again if we find ourselves that way.

Jim was so very helpful from the moment he picked us up from the airport. He gave a thorough run down on how everything worked and what was stored where. The RV had so many things that we needed already stocked, which made it an easy start to our travel! When I had a question, Jim answered right away and was always so pleasant. It made our week trip with 4 adults and 3 kids under 3 as stress free as possible. Couldn't have had a successful trip without the RV!

Communication was great, a very nice man. Just a few things to look for when reviewing other RV or this rental. If renting a vehicle, I’d expect it to be clean. Pots, pans, silverware were filthy had a black residue. Iwiped down all floors and cabinets, counter tops, bathroom due to it not. We purchased our own silver, plates and cups during the trip after seeing this. The dash of the cars was dusty. In the previous renters comment the screen was broken this was not fixed in between. Drivers mirror broken. Blinds in the kitchen area were extremely dirty. The table didn’t stay up when in use, had to tape it so it wouldn’t fall down. In the table area the padding was not secure behind driver seat there was tape there to hold it.If he is picking you up, you then have to travel back to his home and drop him off. We were unaware of that extra time being put in our plans. We assumed we could leave from the airport. Fridge failed twice leaving us to throw away all food. $$$

Jim is a great host and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
The RV has 98 000 miles and is mechanically sound. We got 8.2 mpg at a cruise 65 mph.
Jim gave us the RV fully ready, recently washed with a full tank of gas, fresh water and full lpg.
The RV is packed with stuff you might need, as well as stuff previous renters left behind.
I’d suggest a deep clean and the RV to be repacked to contain only the basics so that we’d be able to use the space for our stuff, instead of having to move it around inside the RV because it is too full. The RV needs some TLC, and minor repairs, i.e. bug screen, blinds, grey tank leak and drawers. Previous renters definitely did not look after this RV as they should have. The awning did not work and this would have been nice.
I’d consider renting this again in the future.
