Pride in ownership, not just a rental car mentality. Flawless experience with our trip and Mike was there the whole way (Virtually) to ensure all was well. Both receiving and turning over the RV was an enjoyable experience.

Michael is very passionate about RVing and it shows. The RV was well maintained and very clean. He gave a very detailed orientation and stayed in touch during our trip. Overall, it was a very good experience and we plan on renting from him again in the near future!

Beautiful RV. Owner is very nice and very helpful. I would recommend to rent this unit.

Listing was accurate but did not indicate that there would be a supplemental contract required, which wasn't disclosed until day of pickup (note this was not a standard Outdoorsy agreement). Also required a minimum $300 clean-up fee for camper if it wasn't returned in "same or better" condition of cleanliness, which is next to impossible when returning from a trip - a cleaning cost should be up front and baked in, we spent three hours cleaning the RV inside and out which wasn't good enough to avoid this charge. Owner was very thorough in walkthrough and in vehicle driving training, and stayed in touch throughout the trip.
Michael’s answer
I submit this with the utmost respect for our clients frame of reference and point of view but I would like to address the concerns of this review. The supplemental contract is a summary of the actual Outdoorsy agreement meant to summarize the fine print of the Outdoorsy contract. As owners, we have the right to require vehicle-specific obligations to rent our vehicle. The Outdoorsy Contract specifically states that the unit is to be returned in as clean or better condition. "Baking-in" the cost of cleaning is an issue that does not work from our experience. It gives no incentive to the renter to keep the vehicle clean or even try to clean it up. What this review does not address is that we agreed to compensate them by reducing generator overages and mileage overages upon return which were substantial. Although I agree that the renter had stress caused to them due to a mechano-electrical fault, there was no way this problem could have been known prior to renting to them, and I would have never done so if it was an issue at the time of rental. Furthermore, I was in contact directly with them via phone trying to assist with multiple avenues and suggestions. I contacted the owner/mechanic, the camp host, and the renter to have them repaired and back on the road with an appointment the very next morning and accordingly this was done. It should be noted that the power transfer switch that was used to replace the current switch was 179.99 plus labor, and the one that was replaced was 700.00 dollars just for the part which was not the renter's fault, but I have to replace the cheaper one with the original which was our cost. The onboard generator supplied them with full power and they were assured that they would be credited 24 hrs of free generation for the inconvenience. I stressed to them the importance of safety and that eventualities occur when renting an RV. It is inherent to the adventure. It is inherent to anything mechanical. I stress at every orientation to our clients that RVing is an active adventure. It is not a vacation where one does not have to be active, proactive, and work as a team. I even say, "if you are looking for a vacation where you sit on the beach and have a waiter bring you cocktails all day, this is not the vacation for you." Also, as owners, we do not dictate the prices of the insurance. Those are standard prices set by the insurance companies at a reduced price through outdoorsy. We do require insurance, as it protects the renter for accidents etc. All of this being said, I would like to say that we would still welcome "K" to rent from us in the future. I would like to think that, in review, we were fair and accommodating and that sometimes things just are out of our control. Believe me, we want our renters and fellow RVers to have a wonderful adventure when they rent from us.

We really enjoyed our experience with Mike’s Fleetwood Pace Arrow! We drove it from Ohio to the Badlands and Black Hills area in South Dakota then to Devil’s Tower, Wyoming. The RV drove well, was extremely clean and well-stocked with everything we needed to hookup, camp, drive and enjoy the outdoor RV experience! We’re first time RVer’s and Mike was very communicative, fun, and beyond helpful with our questions. He clearly outlined expectations and gave us good instructions. The RV had an issue from a previous renter that could not be fixed in time for our trip, but Mike was honest and upfront about it and worked with us to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pickups are based on the Client's familiarity with RV. Orientation is presented on the day of pick up. This will include the operation of the unit and actual driving with each listed driver for the trip. Returning the RV is the day the rental ends. Motorcoach will be reviewed and inspected with client.
