2018 Jeep Jeep 4 Door JL
Camping in Montana is one of the reasons to visit our beautiful state, why come to such an amazing place to spend it in hotel! I've owned truck campers, pull campers, motorhomes and now this set up and without a doubt it's the easiest most simple, yet comfortable method of camping I have done. Enjoy this set up in nature on over 23 million acres of public land with my very well maintained Jeep with removable roof panels, sweet easy to use hardshell roof top tent and camping gear. What's includedI include a basic camping package that has: 2 chairs, a table, 5 gallon water jug, small cooler, 2 burner stove, cook set, sink, lantern, hatchet and of course marshmallow sticks(you can't camp without em!)For additional fees I rent: Annex Room, bear spray, sleeping bags, pillows, firewood, propane for stove, inflatable kayaks with life jackets and paddles.RecommendationsI don't allow off road driving but numbered forest service roads are ok and this allows you to have access to many millions of acres of prime off grid (what we call boon dock camping) as well as tons of established campsites across Montana.Other things to noteDelivery and pick up for available for a fee(just contact me as every situation will most likely be different), cleaning fee will be accessed in two tiers, no off road 4x4 travel.Remember you are camping in grizzly and black bear country so no cooking in the tent, beside being dangerous it’s like spraying food flavored fabric fresher all over your tent and sleeping bags, not good for a good nights sleep.Make sure you don’t store food in your tent during the day while you’re away or out hiking or at nightRemember that no off-road travel is allowed (the jeep has a live time GPS tracking service), no smoking, no vaping, no pets and no music festivals or tailgating. Please remember to return it clean and with a full tank of gas and please read the attached PDF for all this info. Thanks for the rental and have a great time here in Montana.

I'm a professional photographer by trade and have been lucky enough to travel to over 65 countries during my carer. Many times while abroad my trips involve camping in some capacity wether it be in rented campers, back packing or over-landing so I understand being out in nature and camping.. My family also camps in excess of 40-50 days a year both in our camper, roof top tent set up, backpacking or horse trip excursions, we LOVE to camp.

Andrew was an incredible, and accommodating host. He answered every single question I had before my trip began, and even offered some great advice. His vehicle was extremely clean, and ran smoothly, and his camping kit had all the odds and ends that you could need. He truly put a lot of care into building this kit, and just know you are in good hands. I would absolutely rent from Andrew again! Until next time!

We had a phenomenal time in the Jeep with the rooftop tent. The Jeep is very roomy and comfortable for long(ish) drives with lots of people and things. The rooftop tent is a great addition--it is easy to use (especially after Andrew's video and in-person demonstrations), and very comfortable. The Jeep also comes very well stocked with everything you might need for camping. For cooking/eating, it included a pot, a pan, plates, cutlery, metal cups, plastic cups, plastic wine glasses, wine/can opener, spices, cooking utensils (spatula, big spoon, etc.). It also included a sink, sponge, and dish soap for cleaning up, two camp chairs, a first aid kit, a hatchet, playing cards, beer koozies, and a water jug (Andrew gave us the choice of a 3 or 5-gallon). We also had a choice of two coolers--we chose the larger one and it was fantastic as it fit multiple days' worth of provisions and kept things cool and ice frozen for multiple days even though it was 90+ degrees during the day.
Andrew’s answer
Thank you so much for the rental you guys I’m glad you had a good time I try to outfit my rig like my owners and seems like you’re always missing something in the kitchen department or the camping department but it sounds like I got it all covered again thank you so much for the rental and have a great rest of your summer

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I'm pretty flexible and might even be able to meet you at the airport, it just depends on the situation.
Q.Can I go 4 wheeling? or off roading?
A.
The simple answer is no, you can use it on mapped or forest service gravel roads but no off road travel is allowed, I know you're saying to yourself "But it's a Jeep!", off road 4x4 travel is so varied and subjective to each persons ability and experience that it's just too difficult for me to judge with each renter so as a rule I don't allow it.
Q.How hard is it to camp in Montana?
A.
There are tons camping spots in MT, both established private & public spots are scattered throughout the state plus many along forest service roads just up in the mountains. Usually you won't have too much trouble finding somewhere to pull over and camp, just leave yourself some time in late afternoon to get out a map and find somewhere. I highly recommend making reservations in the Glacier or Yellowstone areas. It's less stressful this way.
Q.What comes in the camping package standard with the rig?
A.
2 burner stove, sink, cooking set, coffee press, 2 chairs(extra chairs available on request), 1 table, 5 gallon water jug, lantern, cooler, hatchet, first aid kit
