With this option, the Renter is responsible for campsite reservations and may NOT drive the RV without the owner's express permission and approval. Recommended minimum site utility is a 30-Amp electric hook-up. Water and sewer connections are optional. This option is perfect for novice RV campers or those who wish just to show up and camp or want to bring an additional vehicle for day trips and local travel.RecommendationsI've taken this rig camping at multiple state park campgrounds with full hookups (FHU) and dry camping (boondocking) in city parks for holiday weekends, festivals, and bike races in the spring, summer, and fall. It's great to wake up to nature and a lakefront view.Other things to note+NO SMOKING!!!
Pets are welcome but will result in a higher security deposit and cleaning fee because the inside is recently refurbished.
Mileage limited to 150 mi/day unless negotiated ahead of time.
Must return with full fuel and LPG tanks unless previously negotiated.
Report use of any first aid kit items so they can be re-stocked. Minor usage is expected (i.e., Tylenol, stop-itch, aloe, bandaids, etc.)
Maximum driving speed is 65 MPH.
If you're dry camping/boondocking, it's best to fill the water tank at your destination and drain the water and waste tanks before departing.
Only marine TP is allowed. Flushing sanitary products, wet-ones, dude wipes, cigarette butts, paper, etc will cause a backup in the blackwater tank... you don't want to experience that and it will incur extra charges.
Check lists for set-up and pack-out are included as reminders.
Check the tire pressure before driving the rig anywhere. They must be inflated to the proper levels for safe driving.
