You are about to embark on a luxurious, vintage, “glamping” (as our granddaughter calls it!) experience. Lafayette is the Queen of our fleet, for good reason. She has been beautifully cared for giving you a truly vintage 70's vibe. Everything is included in this beautiful coach so you can set out a lawn chair and just relax.
No need to worry about driving Lafayette. With back-up cameras, Advanced Driver Assistance System, front wheel drive, and rear air bags, she is a breeze to drive. Our other granddaughter drove it for the first time when she was 17 and she turned to us and said, with surprise on her face, “It is just like driving my Dad's SUV!” It extends just 3 feet beyond a normal parking spot.
And once you get to the campsite, leveling it is a breeze. It usually takes about 20 seconds with a push button, no kidding! You might never want to leave the coach while camping because Lafayette has almost wall-to-wall windows. It feels like you're outside when actually being in air-conditioned comfort. Also, ceiling height is not a problem. My husband is 6' 2” and has room to spare.
The kitchen is a dream, making everything easy to prepare, leaving you plenty of time to hike, swim, or read that book you've been wanting to get to.
Roasting marshmallows over an open fire makes for a fun evening. Round out the day playing games in the comfort of the coach.
Look out at the stars as you drift off to sleep on a 3” foam mattress and luxurious bedding. So awesome to get a good night's sleep and then be ready for the next day.
In the morning, have that first cup of coffee with a 1970's-style drip coffee maker that makes better coffee than my Keurig at home!
Rested and relaxed, you are ready for another beautiful day glamping in Lafayette!

Meet your host, Carol

Hi, we're Greg and Carol Olson. We have always enjoyed camping and traveling. We got our first motorhome when we bought a 1975 GMC Glenbrook a couple of years ago. We Loved it right from the beginning. What surprised us, though, is that everyone *else* that sees it loves it too! So, we decided to share our experience of camping in these marvels of mechanical engineering from almost 50 years ago by picking up a couple more of them to rent here on Outdoorsy. We lovingly restored these coaches, removing most "updates" made over the last few decades so that you can travel back in time to the good ol' days. Happy camping!
