Brandon, Manitoba is two and a half hours west of Winnipeg and just over four hours north of Grand Forks. Brandon’s history of European settlement started with trading outposts for the Hudson Bay Trading Company in the late 18th century, but real growth didn’t happen until nearly 100 years later with the arrival of the railroad. It became an important transportation hub when both the railroad and the Trans-Canada Highway were built through Brandon, and it remains an important hub today. The city's easy access to highways and parks make it perfect for camper rentals in Manitoba. Book an RV in Brandon and start your exploration of this remarkable area.
Southwest Manitoba is home to several provincial parks and state parks. The rolling prairie is dotted with lakes large and small, rivers, and forests. These ecosystems provide excellent habitat for wildlife like beavers, elk, moose, and birds. You may even be able to see the Northern Lights when the conditions are right since the latitude is just far enough north and the skies dark enough.
