The Jackalope was perfect for our weekend camping trip. Lisa was wonderful to work with, flexible, and extremely accommodating. We especially enjoyed the comfy bed, the French Press, and the easy to use gas stove. Thank you, Lisa!

Was accused of damaging some wood panel , we did not. Also the five gallon tank was not remotely full and lasted us one day . Electricity was not working at all in the rental either
Lisa’s answer
Hi Scott, thanks for renting. The electricity was working when we demonstrated how to use everything on drop off. Because you guys returned the trailer with the plug to your car disconnected (which is also your brake and turn signals so very important to keep connected while hauling!), my best guess is that the battery didn't charge. I've tested everything since you returned the camper and the lights and fan work just fine and there are no leaks in the water system. It's amazing how quickly a person can use 5 gallons, so we show everyone to refill the tank at pick up.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I'm quite flexible for pickup and drop off. If you're headed to the Owyhee, I can meet you at the Rock Store in Nyssa for convenience. You're also welcome to pick up and drop off at my home in Adrian. If you're heading a different direction and don't want to drive to Adrian first, reach out and we'll make a plan.
Q.What's the bathroom situation in this thing?
A.
The Jackalope includes a collapsible portable camping toilet and WAG bags, which fit into the toilet and include a special chemical that makes human waste disposable in normal trash. You simply zip the bag securely and throw it away. Mess free and easy! Please, please don't use the toilet without the bag!
The rental includes a pop up privacy shelter to use the outdoor shower or the camping toilet.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The Jackalope can plug into shore power or a normal extension cord using an adapter. There's a water hookup to fill the 5 gallon fresh water tank.
Q.I've never pulled a trailer...is this going to be hard?
A.
The Jackalope is the perfect intro to pulling a trailer! It tracks straight and is lightweight enough to be safe behind almost any vehicle with towing capacity. If you're nervous, I'm happy to provide towing tips--I haul a 24' horse trailer almost every day and can share my secrets to finding parking, not getting in a tight spot, and anything else you're worried about.
