36' Class A Diesel Pusher

Sleeps 6
36 ft. long

Our coach is a 2014 Forest River Legacy 300SR and 340BH model. Total interior upholstery was redone in August of 2021. It has a sleeping capacity of 9 with the drop down bunk option it has over the cockpit. It has the 300 series Cummins diesel engine with an Allison 6 speed transmission on the Freightliner XC chassis. It has an air ride suspension and automatic hydraulic leveling system. Full diesel pusher comfort in a 36' unit. Many National parks limit access was why a choose to purchase a 36' unit. The one major slide on the driver side encompasses the bunks, kitchen, and dinette. Slide on the passenger side is a wardrobe area of the master bedroom to increase the bedroom size. Fuel capacity is 90 gallons and so far from our travels we have averaged between 9 and 10 MPG while towing a vehicle behind us. 6KW Onan generator. Can hold 84 gallons of fresh water with 44 gallon grey and black tanks. 3 TVs (living, bedroom, outside). The two bunks each have a drop down screen that DVD’s can be played on or a favorite gaming system connected to. The kitchen has a full size residential fridge. We've equipped the coach with lots of the comforts of home. Bring your personal items and enjoy!
Sleeping arrangements are 1 queen bed, two bunk beds, dinette converts into sleeping, jack knife sofa lays flat for sleeping and a drop down extended length full size bunk over the cockpit area. There are extra large storage compartments underneath the rig for all your camping gear.
What's included• The rental will come with fresh bed linens for the master bed, two bunks and drop down bed. Additional bedding or sleeping bags needed if the dinette or jack knife sofa will be utilized for sleeping. Four camp chairs and folding table in belly storage for use. Propane firepit and one full propane bottle provided with rental. Pots and pans set along with dinnerware and glasses. A 22" Blackstone griddle and a Portable pellet grill is in the underbelly storage if you would like to cook outside.RecommendationsWe have been to multiple locations in Texas as well as others that have rented our coach. We travel to Colorado in the Summer. The state park are nice but my opinion the reservation system is terrible unless you plan far in advance. We have KOA and Good Sams memberships so book at those locations at times. Renters have had trips to Grand Canyon, Disney in Florida, Texas coast, and Big Bend to name a few. We always purchase a magnet when we travel and they are on the refrigerator in the coach. Other things to noteWe would like no smoking or vaping in the coach. We have had a bad experience in the past for a renter to the tune of a $80k repair bill. We will be asking for a trip plan and number of people to be in the coach.

Meet your host, JASON

Member since 2021

Our family is four years into RV ownership. In 2020 we rented a Class C unit to see what we thought about RVing. We spent a week traveling to Estes Park and Colorado Springs. We loved the freedom of traveling in a motorhome and purchased our own Class A diesel pusher in August of the same year. Being a family of five with three boys the motorhome experience is what we thought fit us best. We have done the camping in tents with the boys participating in scouting but now choose to vacation in our coach. We have also rented cabins for destination vacationing but now have more freedom to make plans or change said plans if we decide.
