"Dolly" is the perfect camper. She's a clean, hard-sided 2016 Starcraft Launch Hybrid, 18' foot in total length, lightweight (approx. 3,500 lbs fully loaded), and at the doorstep of all the amazing outdoor experiences that Chaffee County has to offer. Save yourself the fuel cost of towing long distance by picking it up locally and dropping it into an amazing campsite. For a fee, I'm happy to assist in delivering the camper to your site if schedules / proximity align. There's room to sleep 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. The front and rear beds are queen size, the dinette folds into another bed that will comfortably sleep two kids (sub 5 footers) and a couch that can also sleep one child. There's a good size refrigerator that runs on electric or propane, heater, two burner stove, microwave, A/C and kitchen sink with 20 gallon fresh water capacity. There's a basic bathroom with an individual hot water shower and toilet. On return please bring it back in the same condition received. If you take it off road and it gets muddy please wash off. And for the interior please remove all trash, wipe off counters, clean bathroom, Clean out the refrigerator (turn it off) and sweep the floors etc. If you use the shower, sinks, and toilet, please plan on emptying the black and gray water at a dump station.I will be happy to haul the trailer to a location within 60 miles from Salida, CO. Fill fresh water tank, and set it up at a camp site of your choice for a one time fee of $200.What's includedI recommend you bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, blankets just to be as COVID safe as possible. Pots, pans, plates, cups and basic spices can be found in the galley along with paper towels, wash cloths, toilet paper and towels. The 5 gallon propane tank will be full upon pickup and is included in the nightly rate. Fresh water tank will also be full in summer months / temperatures. Gray and Black tanks will be empty.RecommendationsChaffee County and the Arkansas River Valley has an overwhelming variety of recreation opportunities. What are you into, and whereabouts do you want to make camp? Happy to make recommendations. The camper is based in Salida. There's an abundance of 14k ft peaks to hike, miles and miles of mountain biking trails hot springs to soak in, rapids to float and endless miles of jeep roads to explore. I've vacationed in this area for 7 years and have lived here for 2. Happy to point you in the right direction based on your interests.
Other things to notePets are welcome, but you are required to crate them if left unattended in the camper. Separation anxiety often leads to damage that you will be liable for. Please do not allow pets on the furniture or beds. If you'd like to use the shower, sink and toilet, please plan on dumping the tanks before returning. I charge $75 to handle the grey and black water dump after your stay if you don't have the time or know-how. Only put RV toilet paper provided down the toilet. No disposable wipes or feminine hygiene products can go down. Please be conscious of the height while navigating to your campsite. Low hanging limbs can be hazardous and avoid all drive throughs. Please drive slow on dirt roads. Campers are built to be light, not durable which means when the going gets rough while towing you need to take it easy so it doesn't shake itself to bits. This trailer requires a 2" ball. I have one upon request if needed.

"Dolly" the camper was perfect for us! We are novice campers and it was exactly what we needed. John is beyond wonderful to work with. He came and set the camper up and explained how everything worked to us. He then came back and picked it up from the campsite. I would not hesitate to rent from him again. Thanks so much John!!

It was super easy to connect with John for all the specifics for pick up and drop off of the RV. It is clean, no stinky odors and stocked with a few kitchen bare essentials. The RV is better than how it shows in pics. Our trip to river rafting, hiking, and mountain biking was exceptionally FUN!
