Our beautiful 2021 Airstream Basecamp 20X travel trailer was made for those who want to see the world! Built for adventure, it’s a cozy camping trailer that’s tough enough to go anywhere your wanderlust takes you, and comfortable enough to help you really enjoy the time you spend there. We love to pack up whenever we want and go anywhere we please.Solar & Lithium Upgrade!
A standard Basecamp comes with 180W of solar and 200AH of AGM batteries (100AH usable). Our unit has been outfitted with 300W of solar and 300AH of lithium batteries (300AH usable). What does this mean? Well, avoiding any RV sites with hook ups is achievable as there will typically be a surplus of power for all your electrical needs, sunshine depending of course!
What's includedBottom Sheet will be provided and should be place on the bed each night for sleeping. We can also deliver it to a camp site for you if you don't want to worry about towing.Recommendations• Always start small and plan well for any trip. Remember you are towing an unfamilar trailer so treat it with respect. Don't be afraid to pull over and let other people pass.
• Remember to try things at home.
• Be prepared. You don't want to realize you forgot how to work the heater in the middle of no where and be cold all night.
• Remember you are not at home so think small
Other things to noteBed setup is easy and simple, but do make sure to pack and secure everything before you drive off from the campsite.

Would not recommend renting - host is not friendly and certainly not accommodating. Make sure you pay attention to the return time - 11am. Very early compared to most hosts we have rented from. It is clearly a ploy by this host to get to pay you an additional night rental. In our situation, a massive accident shut the interstate down for several hours on our return trip. We let him know as we became stopped in traffic including sending him the 511 info showing the interstate was closed in both directions. As soon as the interstate opened up, we returned the RV. He still charged us the equivalent of almost 2/3 of a day rental. He did not a rental scheduled.

Chris was a nice guy, but the Basecamp was not clean. This trailer was just handed over, and it looked like someone had used it for a long, hard weekend. I had to clean it before we could move into it. It was not glamping in any way. There were no coffee cups, coffee maker, rugs, bedding, pillows, niceties, etc. The provided bath towels, dishes, and pots and pans looked like they were all from a thrift store. Also, he OK'd us dropping it off the next morning, but still charged us extra - bummer.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Always start slowly with any new camper. Ensure that you drive slower and be aware of increased braking distance. Test things out at home before departure so you know how they work. Trying to pull up and instructional video in the middle of nowhere is not going to work.
