The generator starting was a constant worry the entire trip. The battery voltage indicator on the Midwest HTMI indicated near to low voltage even after supposedly being charged all day by the solar system. The solar HTMI indicated Full (13.1 V) but the Midwest panel indicated something always less (e.g. 12.0 V). The generator may not have started if the battery being charged was too low. The battery alone wasn't capable of raising the bed or operating the stove, so it was critical to have the generator operational. Even after running the generator for hours the battery voltage never recharged to 13 V. Hooking up for several hours to an external power supply at a campground was the only means of fully restoring the battery. Externally powering the van on two occasions during the 2 week travel period, combined with running the generator in the morning and in the evening during cooking, bathing, lighting and lowering the bed was enough to keep everything operational. The only item powered during the day, off the solar charged battery, was the refrigerator. The gray water and black water tank level indicators were way off. After draining the tank the level still indicated 37%. There was a gas leak on the system. After filling to 100% LP, within an hour it was down to 92%. I could smell gas on the outside of the van near the fill area. The leak rate diminished as the tank level dropped, so I was able to complete the 13 day trip with one refill. The black water valve body leaked to the exterior while the valve was opened to drain to a dump station. I had to hose down the area. That was embarrassing. The cap to the flexible sewer hose housing didn't fit. I had to use a bungee cord to secure the cap to the housing. The van had a great deal of space. The owners obliged me by removing the two rear seats. That made for a lot of space to maneuver around. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of towels were provided for bathing, dishes, rags for cleaning, etc.

Beautiful RV and super clean! My only caution for future renters is to be careful about running on the battery for very long without the generator. Once the charge goes down too far you can’t run the stove or microwave even with the generator on. That lead to a pan full of raw scrambled eggs one morning lol. Would definitely rent again. Thanks for a great trip.

Michael was great to work with, and helped us out greatly with a last minute reservation. This van is NICE. We drove it over a long weekend through south east New Mexico. We were so comfortable, and I was pleasantly surmised how easy and smooth this van was to drive. Has all the amenities you need for a long weekend trip. No problems setting up at the KOA’s we stayed it. Highly recommend if you are looking for comfort on your adventure, and a great host to work with.
