Careful, you aren’t done with paying until they “review” the unit. We left the rv in the same condition as we got it and they came back with bs reasons to charge more. Constantly messing up with the communication of when I could pick it up and drop it off. Had to remind them of the up charges I paid extra for several times. Totally not worth all the expenses.

Your RV had a large black tank blockage, which we documented and shared via photos. Rather than charging the full $250 outlined in the rental terms, we reduced the fee to $100 in good faith.Tolls & Processing Fees – The $50 toll processing fee was disclosed upfront and separate from the actual tolls incurred ($25.10). These fees were outlined before booking.Pickup & Drop-Off Communication – While we strive for smooth scheduling, our team relies on accurate renter communication. Adjustments were made at your request, and we worked to accommodate changes.Upcharges & Add-Ons – Any optional add-ons were selected by you and honored accordingly. Our role is to facilitate the rental, not to repeatedly remind renters of what they opted for.We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, but we clearly document all fees and provide photos for verification. For future renters, we recommend reviewing all policies in advance and reaching out with any questions before booking.

Here’s a clearer and more polished version of your review:Our experience with this RV was extremely disappointing. The battery never functioned, which left us without power for the entire trip. We paid for a walkthrough with Jon, but the information he provided was inaccurate. He only demonstrated the RV while it was connected to a power source and misled us about the battery and the battery disconnect feature.As a result, we spent the trip in complete darkness and discomfort since even the basic lights didn’t work. Neither the host nor the technical support team was willing to assist us, forcing us to consult a local RV technician—who confirmed that the guidance we received from the Outdoorsy technician regarding the generator was also incorrect.To make matters worse, we paid $150 for grey and black water cleaning, even though we never used the system. The pump system was non-functional due to the battery issue, making it impossible to use in the first place.Right from the beginning, we faced additional mechanical issues, including a faulty tire pressure sensor and multiple warning indicators on the dashboard. These concerns were barely acknowledged by the host or Outdoorsy’s support team. Driving an RV with unknown dashboard warnings, especially with family and kids onboard, was an incredibly stressful and unsafe experience. Despite our repeated requests, the host refused to even take a call to discuss the problems.When you pay for a walkthrough, we expect accurate information and accountability. Instead, we were misled by Jon about critical features, some of which didn’t work at all unless connected to an external power source. Had we been informed upfront, we wouldn’t have taken the trip at all.This was a terrible experience, and moving forward, I will be much more cautious when renting an RV—ensuring that both the host and the walkthrough provider are honest, transparent, and responsible.

For first-time renters unfamiliar with RV power systems, we strongly encourage researching how different RVs function before selecting a unit. If your travel plans required full power while driving or when off-grid, a generator-equipped unit would have been a better fit.Battery & Walkthrough Accuracy – The RV was provided with a fully functional house battery, as shown in pre-trip photos, and everything was operational during the walkthrough. Upon return, our inspection confirmed that the battery disconnect was left on, which can drain power when not managed correctly. It appears power management may not have been fully understood, leading to the issues you described.Technical Support & Communication – Outdoorsy provides 24/7 roadside assistance and tech support, which we directed you to. RV rentals are not like hotels—there is an expectation that renters will engage in basic troubleshooting and familiarize themselves with how systems work.Late Return & Additional Charges – The RV was GPS-tracked off-site past the 3 PM return cutoff, requiring us to reschedule services. Late return fees are clearly outlined in the rental agreement and were applied accordingly.While we appreciate all renters, our RVs require basic operational knowledge, and we encourage those unfamiliar with RV systems to research and select a unit that matches their needs. Future renters should ensure they understand RV power requirements, especially when booking a unit without a generator.

Great smaller RV for a quick trip. Very easy with a touchscreen for everything. Definitely not like those older RVs on Outdoorsy.

The best part was the US Grand Prix. As for the rental, we lost power and the ability to use the generator within 24 hours of our arrival. It would have been ok but the host was very rude when we asked for help. The camper is probably fine for use at an RV park.

Thank you for your review! The RV was given to you in working condition. You seem to have left the RV on while at the race and it drained your entire battery! Without a jump you would not have power. Unfortunately you did not want assistance saying it was not something you wanted to organize! Please be accountable for your actions and maybe you should look into a hotel!

This was my first time renting an RV and they made it easy to go over everything you need. The RV was clean, and easy to drive. Jonathan responded quickly and was available for any questions I had. My family had a great time and I would definitely rent from here again.
