4.7About Jenni & Michael Mahoney
Just my wife and I renting our favorite toys so that others can enjoy them too. No big business here - text us and we'll answer. We're in Beeler Park, right off I-70 and US-36, 10 mins from I-225. We're on the way to pretty much anywhere in CO from Denver International Airport.

The rooftop tent very nearly came off the roof while we were driving: I caught it sliding sideways, barely secured by the last of the 4 bolts holding it in place. You can imagine that a 300lbs object, 6-feet across, falling off a 10-foot roof at highway speed and slamming into any vehicle behind (or worse, a pedestrian or cyclist) would have ended our holiday very differently.
The engine on the van gave us pause every day, literally. Before it warmed up very well, the diesel provided no power whatsoever when we started the car. I was warned by the owner about this, but only experienced the effect first-hand when we were dozens of miles from the nearest mechanic, parked on an incline, with a downslope toward a too-steep ravine. No cell coverage, of course. We managed to inch-out of that situation, but it was touch-and-go every morning when the engine was cold.
The owner made a big deal of how self-contained and off-the-grid the van is (solar power, generator, propane tank big enough for weeks away) but failed to include a hose that would let us fill up the water tank! We left civilization behind with 25 gallons of water for 9 days: that worked out to less than a gallon of water per day. Simple-enough problem to remedy, but not in the back country. This is very much a bring-your-own-hose-on-the-holiday kind of a deal.
Finally, there were the doors. This is a big, brutish van. Things slam heavily, especially when you’re not looking. Even for adults that could be a danger of getting a finger or limb stuck somewhere where it isn’t supposed to be. With kids, I was constantly terrified one of them would get some appendage smashed into pulp. Nothing happened, luckily, but something to consider on a trip with the little ones.

Michael was very thorough in explaining all of the van's features.
We reached out to Michael while on our trip with a question on one of the vans features and he got back to us right away.
Thank you,
Mike

Van is a looker too, tons of compliments everywhere we went. Owner was super friendly and accommodating. They even stocked the van with some camp chairs and a few kids toys.
