Welcome to Van Island Adventures hosted with Outdoorsy! We are new to hosting on outdoorsy! We wanted to take our love for the outdoors and turn it into a business! We are learning as we go, constantly evolving and updating our vans and adding more to the fleet! We are still exploring the island and would love to hear from you and all your adventures! The van was great and Michelle & Justin were an absolute pleasure to deal with (so great we ended up extending our booking!) We had absolutely no mechanical issues throughout our roadtrip and we travelled quite a long way without ever hearing a funny sound or worrying about battery life! The only two cons to this van to keep in mind when booking were that there were no privacy curtains for the back or side windows so at night when we had the lights on you could fully see inside of the van - we purchased black towels the second night to hang inside for discrete camping and used these the rest of the trip. The second to keep in mind is the lack of storage as there are no cupboards above the counter or drawers under the bed to store clothes. All in all though these things were minor and easy to navigate. The van was great, Michelle and Justin were lovely and they did a great job making a little home on wheels and we were able to navigate those little things along the way to make for the perfect trip!

We thought with the tinted windows, no additional privacy curtains were required and the storage container above the van would suffice for the lack of storage inside the van however, we will definitely take your feedback and put your suggestions to work! My partner and I came from New Brunswick and rented the van for a whole week to adventure and explore Vancouver Island for a week. Michelle was amazing to deal with and the van provided everything we needed and more. We would absolutely rent from them again and have already recommended the same to a few friends!

Luna & I had a blast! My 💜 is full! I was a bit nervous as it was my first time travelling sola and Michelle was so supportive and encouraging. Luna is equipped with everything you need and more, The hosts have gone out of their way to ensure your experience is amazing. Literally all you need to take is clothes, toiletries and food! Regardless of how dumb my question was, Michelle always answered me and very promptly. If you’re thinking of trying out the van life and discover amazing places around the island, Luna will take you there and Michelle & Justin will make sure you got all you need! I highly recommend Luna, she is a bit older with few insignificant dents from previous trips (not mine 🤣 ) but very reliable, easy to drive and manouvrer, you just have to adapt to Lunas height as she is taller than your average car and drives differently in a sense. I’m looking forward to another trip to the island and to rent Luna again from Michelle & Justin. Happy travels Luna and all your new partners cheers 🫶

The campervan from Michelle and Justin has everything you need for camping! The campervan drives very well. We took it to Tofino and back with no unpleasant surprises.
Michelle and Justin were very responsive and accommodating for our schedule. They even changed an old but working battery with a new one, so that we won't have any problems while driving.
Overall, I can not recommend this campervan (and Michelle and Justin) enough!!

We hired Nova for a month to travel to the bike parks of BC.
Nova was great, no issues and a lot of fun. Michelle and Justin were fantastic. So much thought was put into everything and it made travelling easy. Thanks guys.

Jason and Michelle are organized, professional, and have thought of everything ! The van was well set up with lots of attention to detail, and was perfect for a kiting trip without having to bring our camping set up with us. They were awesome at giving recommendations, telling us what was included so we could pack for the trip without bringing a ton of extras. 10/10 experience! We kept getting compliments on the van everywhere we camped!
