Owner communicated well & was flexible with pickup time. Trailer was overall nice on the inside & outside. The only reason for the lack of the 2 stars is for these reasons:
1) the AC does not blow into the master bedroom at all. We tried messing with it over the course of our entire 5 day trip and could never get it to blow cool air into the room. Even when we put the AC at the lowest setting it would be like a freezer in the common space, but completely hot in the bedroom.
2) the mattresses are very very thin. They’re probably all of 3 inches thick, and if you lay down on it your tail bone and hips will literally be digging into the wood underneath the mattress. After sleeping like that for several nights it becomes painful and very annoying. We got to the point of piling everyone dirty clothes underneath the mattress to help with some kind of pain, so that we could sleep without being in pain.
3) while the freezer worked great, the fridge did not get very cold at all during our trip. During the first day or two we had to keep most of our food in the ice chests to make sure it didn’t go bad while we waited for the fridge to cool down. Unfortunately because of the amount of time we had to wait, some of our food got waterlogged/ruined which was disappointing. We were kind of worried that our food was on the verge of not being cold enough throughout the trip, as we did not want to get food poisoning from questionable food.
4) there is a white vent/skylight in the master bedroom which gets pretty bright first thing in the master bedroom. Not a super huge deal on its own, but when paired with the lack of cold air, plus an extremely thin bed, it makes it worse.
Unfortunately these issues made our trip stressful and uncomfortable when it was supposed to be relaxing. The owners did a good job of communicating, but hopefully they fix these issues for the next guests so that they are comfortable.
