Honestly so disappointed in this host. I thought renting from someone local would be a good thing to do. Turns out they just screw you in the end.Taylor’s pickup time is 3PM, however she told us we can’t pickup until after 5PM because they both have jobs. So that was understandable. We returned the unit after 3PM because we had to stop several times due to the weather stripping. She charged me $100 for being late. On top of that the photos are far from accurate. The sewer and grey water tanks were half of someone else’s bodily waste. She charges a prep fee and no prep was done. There was also dog or cat hair on the furniture, dirty appliances, and some dead bugs. On top of this the trailer had no brake or turn signal lights and we had to spend our own money for magnetic lights. We wanted to leave at 330AM but was delayed to 730AM.After setting up and noticing all of the issues we got a hotel instead. And instead of communicating with us she charged us our deposit and will not message or communicate. We tried to talk to her but no calls, text or outdoorsy messages were returned. The icing on the cake was I noticed her camper on marketplace for sale and I had previously spoken to her about it. I didn’t put it together until I did the rental. And of course she blocked me on there even though we had only talked about the camper being sold. Nothing about the bad experience. She knew what she was doing and I’m honestly surprised this happen with someone local.
