Hi there! We’re Joe and Christine, a couple of northeastern transplants who now call sunny Florida home—Joe hails from Rhode Island, and Christine is originally from New York. We share a passion for travel, history, and the great outdoors, always seeking out new adventures and places to explore. We’re also big fans of off-grid living, the tiny home movement, and alternative lifestyles that embrace simplicity, sustainability, and a sense of freedom. Renting out our camper allows us to share a slice of this unique lifestyle with fellow nomads and adventurers, even if just for a few days. Our camper, affectionately named Thoreau, pays tribute to Henry David Thoreau, the philosopher, naturalist, and author of Walden. Thoreau’s reflections on simplicity, self-reliance, and the beauty of nature resonate deeply with our own values and the spirit of exploration we hope to inspire in our guests.
