I’ve been camping my whole life. My grandparents had an RV when I was little and now I own my own. I’m originally from Missouri, lived in LA for a while, Phoenix for a while and now San Diego. My favorite trips have been up and down the California coast. My boyfriend and I enjoy being outdoors and are more than happy to share the RV experience with you!

Great experience. It is an RV, a really nice one. So much so, it felt like home for the three weeks we had it. Any issue that came up, Amy addressed immediately. Can't reccomend enough.

My family and I had a great time in the San Diego area. Amy's trailer was perfect for us! It sleeps 6 comfortably and is fairly well appointed. Plus everything in the trailer was working perfectly fine! We opted to get our trailer delivered by Amy and communication was clear. Would definitely rent from Amy again if we're in the area again.

• Responsive owner regarding issuesThis was a mixed bag as far as our experience renting the RV. The owners arrived promptly delivering the trailer and getting it set up for us. They showed us how to operate the generators and the various controls for light, heat, and water, and they were responsive to the issues that came up during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and everything seemed to be working.
However, the propane tanks were almost empty so there was no heat flow sometime in the middle of the first night. We went into town and exchanged the propane tanks and the owners said they would reimburse us for the expense of $47.01 (we will send them a copy of the receipt). The heat then worked great. However, the next morning, again we had no heat or power of any kind. Figured that the battery had drained down even though we used very little electricity beyond the automatic fan for the heat; ran the generator for over 2 hours and still nothing worked. Called the owners and they came out right away (approx. 1 hour drive for them) to make sure that the power cord was properly attached and locked in place. Ran the generator and all seemed OK. But the next morning we again had no power or heat even after running the generators for over 3 hours. We finally had to get an extension cord from a friend, and everything worked again. Our friend who owns a couple of large RVs suggested that there was a problem with the inverter/diverter so that the power from the generators was not going where it was supposed to (everything should have worked as soon as we turned on the generators) and the battery was not getting charged (a fully charged battery should last at least 2 days).
We again contacted the owner and they agreed that we should get a partial refund of our rental fee.

Trailer was great! Was perfect for what we needed and Amy was very flexible and easy to work with as our plans changed slightly from the original reservation. If we do this trip again next year we would definitely hope to work with Amy again!

Had such a great experience renting from Amy they both were so helpful with communicating and showing us how to do everything before leaving . We had a great time this trailer is so worth it super clean and comfortable lots of room and everything in the trailer was there didn’t have to even really pack much . definitely will be booking again with them wonderful experience and people all around.

I rented Amy’s camper over labor day weekend. We flew in from out of state so I had the camper delivered as I wouldn’t have a vehicle. Amy was two hours late on the delivery. When she and her husband set up the camper they did not level it. The hitch was put on a wooden block in the dirt and on an angle. The next day the wooden block split and the camper slid off of the block. We spent a bunch of our day trying to get this moved and level. The battery arrived completely dead. The generators I paid extra for wouldn’t work because they were on overload. The first two days of our four day trip we had no electricity, no air, no lights, nothing. We had a glorified tent. After troubleshooting we found their battery had no water so it would never hold a charge. I reached out to Amy and she did offer to drive two hours to deliver a new one or reimburse me if I went to get one. Which is what we did. We spent two days without any of the amenities of the camper. She refused a partial refund and stopped communicating.

We had a great time. Amy's RV was clean and comfortable and trailed very easily behind our truck. Amy and her husband were helpful and accommodating at the pick up and the drop off. It was a very positive experience.
