A trip of a life time!My husband and I decided for our famiy vacation this year that we would rent a travel trailer and road trip for an entire month. After searching the site for camper options, we ultimately selected Steven and Laura's Airstream Bambi and we were thrilled with our decision. Not only were they very responsive to any questions we had regarding their trailer, but we feel they went out of their way to help make our experience that much more enjoyable. Steven is very thorough in explaining the trailer features and operational how to's while Laura's touch was clear with the impeccable and stylish presentation of the interior. We traveled to 5 states over the course of the month with the camper hitched to our Jeep Wrangler.. I think, ideally a larger vehicle with a more robust towing capacity would be better suited for the camper as our vehicle was towing at the max capacity. Not that we had any issues, but driving next to big trucks on the freeway was sometimes a bit stressful. that being said, we truly felt like celebrities everywhere we stopped.. If you are a social butterfly, this Airstream is perfect because everyone stops to give a compliment or friendly word or two about how darling the trailer is. It wasn't unusual for us to see people taking photos as we were driving or camped at a site. The trailer came very well stocked with items that were clean and well maintained. We never used the shower part of the bathroom, but rather opted to shower at the campgrounds facilities we stayed at.. it didn't bother us at all as we spent several weeks prior to our departure researching campsites and booking reservations. We were very fortunate to have stayed in places that were very clean. One of the things we loved the most was how maneuverable the Airstream was.. we saw several people with larger RV's and travel trailers spend a significant amount of time getting their rig set up at campsites.. whereas, we had camp set up and happy hour underway in a matter of minutes!Overall, I would say..this trip was probably one of the most special vacations we've experience in nearly 20 years together. The coziness of the trailer helped us reconnect and enjoy the little things we'd forgotten we loved to do together. We loved campfire cooking, playing games, hiking and taking walks and a lot of great conversation. One to thing to note is that we considered ourselves novices when it came to camping with a trailer. Neither my husband or I had ever done anything like this before.. and really had relatively no issues and enjoyed ourselves tremendously.Thank you so much Steven and Laura!!!
