Experience with the staff was great no complaints there, the pool was great plenty of shade with the outdoor furniture they had set up. Kids playground was gated that was super helpful. I got a tent and rv spot and they were able to put together which was nice. Spot was roomy, sewer and electric hookup was good. The water spigot was wonky, only a few inches out of the ground and sideways. We had bears coming out from the forest taking food off tables in the middle of the day so it was hard to relax, always had to be on guard especially with our small kids being there. Overall good camping experience I just probably won't return back because of the bear situation which I know isn't their deal but still thought I'd include that point incase anyone was wondering.

Our "Premium" campsite was nowhere near level (many sites are not) and was crowded--had no practical area to set the picnic table or out side area.

We gave Outdoorsy Yosemite 3 stars because of the good location... just about 15 miles to south entrance of Yosemite and a one minute bike ride to Bass Lake. It was clean and hook-ups worked fine.
HOWEVER...I do not recommend getting a spot along the 'creek' because the RV/Trailer spots are incredibly close together. We brought our 25 foot toy hauler. It was a bit difficult to back in due to the trees (but good for shade). It was OK our first night because we had no neighbors on either side. But on the remaining nights, we had trailers on either side of us...cramped so close that people could not fully extend their awnings. We could hear every single noise and conversation on both sides of us, with people walking through our site to get to their friends on the other side of us. We've never been so cramped in a campsite before.
Be prepared there are LOTS of kids in this park...great if you have young ones, but not so great if you're hoping for a little peace and relaxation.
There was NO Wifi/Internet service at our location. We had to walk up to the main office to get any kind of service- which is difficult if you're trying to do a little work or need to connect. The office staff told us there was nothing they could do about it, and gave us the number to call their internet service company to complain (which we did, but nothing was resolved).
Sad to say, I don't think I would stay here again or recommend due to cramped sites and no service, but it sure was a great location to be close to the lake and Yosemite. Their prices are too high for what we ended up getting.

Mosquitos made it unbearable. Other than that it was great!

Tight! If the spot in front of us was not empty, I don’t know how we would have backed our 36’ RV in. When I was searching online, this was the only spot 7 months prior to our trip. There was no phone # & when we missed our turn, I asked the front desk worker about their # & she said it’s buried under a couple of tabs?? As a campground, why would you want that?? I’ve been all over that site & it’s not to be found. Also, EVERY other campground we’ve booked with online, they will apply GoodSam’s at check in; NOT here. I was told since I booked online (like there’s another choice with no #), discount could NOT be applied. Other than that, it’s a nice campground, but sites are the TIGHTEST we’ve ever experienced. Thank goodness the site on our picnic side was only occupied on our last day. I’ve never heard of the “Outdoorsy” name being used for a campground, but I will know to avoid them in future.

Our trip was great and the place is Very nice. I would definitely stay here again For the location. My only complaint is.It's a dog friendly park but the only place they have for a dog to go to the bathroom is a couple dirt pits. To me if you're a dog friendly park you should have an area with grass for the dog to go to the bathroom near the campers site not so far away from where the campers are.

My family and I had a great time! Our spot was beautiful! Bryan was amazing and gave us a ride to and from the marina in his golf cart. This made our trip so much easier. We rented a boat down at the marina and had a bunch of stuff to take down. The pool was so nice and cold and refreshing. We saw a few bears too. We will definitely be back!

The site we had was the worst we've ever stayed at. Out trailer was lopsided and there was absolutely no room to hang out outside. Our vehicle was hit while we were out on a walk.

We arrived after the office was closed, however a very detailed note and campsite information was left for us on a note board. Our site was perfectly level, and we quickly set up our van. The bathrooms were spotless and we took advantage of the free showers. We were also able to use the laundry that was available. Luckily I had enough quarters to do one load of wash since the change machine wasn’t working. The location was good being close to Oakhurst, and Yosemite. It was still close to 1 1/2 hour drive to Yosemite Valley. Nice place to stay!

The place was under remodeling .
Overall it was fine, but many of the amenitiesthey advertised were not available during our stay.
Location is great, however now that i visited, i would prefer to stay somewhere closer to the park a bit more wild.

Nothing fancy, currently being redeveloped. Super clean bathrooms and showers.
1 1/2 hour drive to Yosemite valley through South Entrance.
